"Pizza" is a vegetable
So a few of you may have heard of this whole "pizza is a vegetable" thing. Well I think that the news, primarily fox news, which has the most confusing report with the least bit of information, really took it out of context and that the have not really given the full story. A while ago, the USDA started to crack down on healthy eating. So they passed a bill, in order to for schools to get government funding for lunches, they must put a certain amount vegetables in each meal. This means no more pizza or some terrible, healthy pizza. Congress, with the help of major food suppliers, said that nobody would buy the lunches so in order for us to pass this bill, you must count 2 tablespoons of tomato paste as a vegetable. Now the USDA wants to make it 1/2 a cup and they also want to limit the amount of starch (so no more french fries every day) and congress is saying no for the same reasons. But now the US, who did not really know about this, is all tied up with what to do. We all want pizza and French fries, but we also want to be healthy. What does not make sense to me it that a tomato is a fruit. So the USDA wants to change their rule that 2 tablespoons of a fruit paste is a vegetable to 1/2 of a cup of fruit paste is a vegetable. Really, it is what it is. And we also need to focus more on the fact that everything schools serve is the same color. Peaches, pizza, chicken, french fries, egg rolls, pasta, chips, pretzels, etc. They say that a good guide to balanced eating is having many colors in your meal. Like strawberries, a salad, milk, you know. Not all a golden color. We drastically need to change our schools and this is not even the tip of the iceberg of ALL the problems of education.

PROTECT IP
Congress needs to know just what they are doing. This bill will remove a lot of rights from us and will even violate general copyright law! If this bill passes, you won't be able to post a video of you singing a pop song (which falls under parody in my book)! Write congress and tell them how stupid this bill it! Do it! Do it now!Write congress NOW!! Just do it! Click here!

Occupy Wall Street
Okay, so I get what the #ows people are trying to achieve. But are they really doing a good job at it? If they really want the banks to listen, they would just take out their money from their bank. It worked with Bank of America's $3 charge; why wouldn't it work here? People always say that their the "99%", and obviously, the are. For those who don't really know, they are protesting the fact that 99% of the American population has less than 50% if the money. Which is true, but not going to work to protest really does not help you there. "#ows is fighting back against the corrosive power of major banks and multinational corporations over the democratic process, and the role of Wall Street in creating an economic collapse that has caused the greatest recession in generations" (http://occupywallst.org/). Really?!??!! It's the major bank's fault that YOU bought every single iPhone when you are using food stamps? Is it their fault that you got a credit card so you could spend more that you have? No. It it the top 1%'s fault that you made poor lifestyle choices? Sure, they had a big part in this whole economic downfall, but so did the 99%. The 1%, even the 2% (the 2% is for people who make over $100,000 a year) earned that money. They were the people who realized that flunking school and majoring in liberal arts will not get you far in life and money. Those are the people who worked hard their whole educational career and went to college and earned a degree! Now it's their fault for 99% of the population, who the majority of slacked their whole life, having no money. Do you want money? Here's a tip. Get good grades, don't blow off school, get a job, work hard, and don't buy any Apple products (not that I don't like them, they are just expensive). If you don't want to be in the 99% then work hard. Don't complain because you ruined your life and somebody else is living the dream. This is just stupid. Get to work and realize that, ♫ You can't always get what you want! ♫

Disclaimer
Okay, let me lay it out for you. The views and opinion expressed by the creator of these blogs reflect solely on his/her own opinion. There are 307.007 million people in America and there is no way that everyone agrees with me. If that was true, there would be only one political party (duh). I know a lot of you will disagree so I don't need your comments telling me so. I don't mind a disscussion, but just saying you hate Obama or posting your views when you are closed to discussion and or spamming/trolling is immature and stupid and a great way to get your comment deleted. If you don't like what i have to say, feel free to comment on the blog but please provide a solid and logical reason why. Thank you!

Intoduction
Hello! My name is John and I live in the DC Metro area. But I have also lived in Dallas, Texas; St.Petersburg, Florida; Richmond, Virginia; Santa Barbara, California; and now here, Reston, Virginia. One might say I've never had any friends because I've moved around so much, that may be right, but that also means that I've had plenty of time thinking about life, political issues, and so much more. I created this blog because I am sick and tired of hearing people say that Obama is a terrible president (that post is to come, don't discuss about it on this one), that wall street is the source of all our problems, and general, Republican vs. Democratic crap that has over blown into epic proportions. I plan to post my views here in hope to slap some sense into ya'll. Check back soon! And thanks for reading.
